How to generate an E-Way Bill online (web portal)
Generating a bill online means filling Part-A (consignment and party details) and Part-B (vehicle details), then submitting to get a 12-digit E-Way Bill Number (EBN).
This is the standard method most businesses use. Have your invoice, GSTINs, HSN code, value, distance and vehicle number ready.

Frequently asked questions
What is the EBN?
The EBN is the unique 12-digit E-Way Bill Number generated for each consignment, printed on the slip with a QR code.
Do I always need Part-B?
Part-B (vehicle details) is needed for road transit. Without it, the bill is incomplete and not valid for movement by road.
