If goods can't reach in time due to a breakdown, natural delay or trans-shipment, you can extend the bill within a window before and after expiry, while it's genuinely in transit.

How to extend

Log in, open Extend Validity, enter the EBN, give the current location, the reason for delay and the remaining distance, then submit to get fresh validity.

When extension is allowed

Extension is permitted within the allowed window around expiry. It's only for goods still in transit — not for bills where movement is already complete.

Tips

Plan extensions before expiry where possible. Use the validity calculator to anticipate when a bill will lapse.
