Transporters move the goods, so Part B and validity are their core concerns. Unregistered transporters enrol for a TRANSIN; registered ones use their GSTIN account.

Enrolment and TRANSIN

Unregistered transporters enrol to get a 15-character TRANSIN, used as their login and entered by suppliers in Part A. See transporter registration.

Updating Part B

Transporters fill or update Part B with the vehicle number and mode before movement, and again whenever the vehicle changes.

Consolidated E-Way Bills

When one vehicle carries multiple consignments, a consolidated bill groups several EBNs into a single document for that trip.
