Generating a bill means completing Part A (consignment and parties) and Part B (vehicle), then submitting to receive a 12-digit EBN with a QR code. Have your invoice, both GSTINs, HSN code, value, PIN codes and vehicle number ready.

Step-by-step on the web portal

Log in and open Generate New

Sign in, then go to e-Waybill → Generate New.

Fill Part A

Transaction type, document details, party GSTINs, HSN, value, PIN codes.

Fill Part B

Mode of transport and vehicle number, or the transporter ID.

Submit

Get the EBN and the QR-coded slip.

Print or note the EBN

Carry the slip or the number with the consignment.
