Once a bill is generated you can print the slip — a one-page document with the EBN, QR code, Part A and Part B details and a barcode. It can be carried printed or shown digitally.

How to print the slip

Log in, open Print EWB, enter the E-Way Bill number, and use the Print button on the slip preview. You can also save it as a PDF from the print dialog.

What the QR code does

The QR code lets officers verify the bill instantly during transit by scanning it, without typing the number. The barcode at the bottom serves the same verification purpose.

Carrying the bill

The person in charge of the conveyance carries the slip or the EBN. For checking a bill's status, see how to check status.
