The E-Way Bill login is separate from your main GST portal login. You reach it from ewaybillgst.gov.in by clicking Login at the top-right. You'll need your username, password, the captcha, and — since April 2025 — a one-time OTP.

Step-by-step login

1

Open the portal

Go to ewaybillgst.gov.in and click Login (top-right).

2

Enter credentials

Type your username and password from registration.

3

Solve the captcha

Enter the case-sensitive captcha exactly as shown.

4

Complete 2FA

Enter the OTP from SMS, Sandes or NIC-GST-Shield.

5

Reach your dashboard

You'll see bills generated, cancelled, rejected and pending Part-B.

About 2-Factor Authentication

2FA is mandatory for everyone. The OTP can arrive three ways: by SMS to your registered mobile, through the Sandes messaging app, or via the NIC-GST-Shield app, which generates OTPs on-device even without a network. Pick whichever is most reliable for you.

Common login problems

If login fails, check Caps Lock and the captcha case first, then confirm you aren't on the GST portal by mistake. For specific issues see login problems, OTP not received, password reset, and account blocked.

Important
Never enter your credentials on any site other than the official portal. This site is informational and never asks for your login.

Sub-users and transporters

Staff log in as sub-users with permissions set by the main user. Unregistered transporters log in with their TRANSIN.
