E-Way Bill login: step-by-step for taxpayers and transporters

The login page sits separately from the main GST portal. You reach it from the portal home page by clicking Login at the top right. Keep your registered mobile handy because 2-Factor Authentication is now mandatory.

Frequently asked questions
Is the E-Way Bill login the same as the GST portal login?
No. The E-Way Bill system uses its own username and password, created during E-Way Bill registration, separate from the main GST portal login.
Why do I now need an OTP to log in?
2-Factor Authentication became mandatory for all taxpayers and transporters from 1 April 2025. The OTP can come by SMS, the Sandes app, or the NIC-GST-Shield app.
I forgot my username — what now?
Use the 'Forgot Credentials' link on the login box to recover the username and reset the password against your registered mobile.
